The main underlying philosophy behind our approach to learning, is breaking down problems into its fundamental elements, which then allows us to rearrange them as best suits our purpose. This is particularly effective with STEM subjects such as Mathematics and Computer Science. As such, this is the principle that allowed me achieve my A* (8) (for Mathematics), and A**s (9) (for the physical and computer sciences) during my GCSEs.
