I am a qualified English teacher. I have a years worth of experience as a classroom teacher. I have experience with teaching Years 7, 8, and 9 plus GCSE and A Level students.

I have experience with teaching the following topics: utopia and dystopia, travel writing, descriptive writing, speech writing, Romantic poetry, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet, The Hunger Games, 1984, Of Mice and Men, and An Inspector Calls.

I also have taught Media Studies as well if your looking for support in that subject.

I can support pupils with WJEC exam preparation as well by providing useful revision techniques, simplifying exam jargon, and providing study material too.


If you're in the Newport area, we could arrange face-to-face tutoring. But if you're more comfortable with online/remote tutoring, I can do that as well.
