My lessons are person centered, friendly and patient. I will work to each individuals own pace but will comfortably push students to be the best they can be. I prefer to always teach face to face and 1-1 but not opposed to group lessons. I show great attention to detail when delivering my tuition and want the best outcome for all students. For younger students, I will focus on keeping the lessons as fun as possible as I appreciate going too in depth with theory can be quite tedious for young people under 10 years old. For older students who are starting out, I'l deliver the fundamentals of guitar playing and theory and then move on to teach them whatever their preferred musical style is. I believe that students maximize potential when focusing on learning the music they love and develop the best outcomes through learning the material from the players that inspire them. For more intermediate and experienced players, I will almost fully work on any gaps in technique and learn songs that are a challenge for anyone to play. I'm a great lover of both rhythm and lead guitar players but especially passionate about lead playing. My style is very bluesy and soulful but I am not shy as a rock guitarist either. I will always deliver each lesson with utmost enthusiasm and a willingness to see students achieve their goals, whether it be as a hobby for them or to be a full time performer as a solo artist or within a band.

I travel the country weekly to perform at weddings with one of Scotland's top wedding bands. With 1000+ gigs behind me and my career moving forward each year, I now love spending the time to train the next performers in the industry.
