Hi! My name is Adam Khan and I am an international student from Canada currently studying mathematics at Cambridge.
In Canada, I offered online tutoring to first-year undergraduate students at McGill University in the subjects of calculus and linear algebra. I was also a teaching assistant in the course Linear Algebra and Geometry at McGill. As teaching assistant, my responsibilities included organizing and hosting exam review sessions on Zoom and answering student queries during lectures.
My lessons will all be delivered remotely through Zoom. Typically, the first lesson is an intro session in which I ask my students for their syllabus, gage their competency level and ask them about their academic goals. Thereafter, I ask students to email me 2-3 days advance of each lesson a list topics or questions they would like me to address. During the lesson, I then spend most of my time talking through the solutions to problems whilst screensharing a page of annotations that I touch up and send to my students within a few hours.
If students have miscellaneous or general queries that they would like to ask me during the week, I ask them to email me promptly and I will do my best to respond within 1-2 days.
