I graduated from Sun Yat-sen University with a Business Administration degree and is pursuing a master's degree in Business Analytics at UCL.
I believe by sharing my knowledge about IELTS and English learning, I can help more people improve their performance in the tests, achieve ideal scores and attain desired opportunities. My lessons are highly personalised and will focus on helping you become a better English user rather than simply passing a certain exam. Forms of my lessons include but are not limited to topic-specific lectures with abundant practice sessions, mock tests with in-depth reviews, strategies for test taking and conversation practices with designed contexts! I am confident that through my tutoring not only will you greatly enhance your speaking skills, but also your overall operational command of the language in all other aspects (i.e. listening, reading & writing).
I believe interest is the best teacher for language learning. I am a very good listener and can always encourage you to speak. By mustering up the courage to speak and learn from our mistakes, we get to reach nearer to success step by step.
Understanding the test structure of IELTS is very important. After achieving an overall band score of 8.5 with an exceptional speaking score of 8.5, I volunteered to conduct various sharing sessions in my school and towards the public, introducing the test structure of IELTS, its scoring criteria and some useful tips and resources for preparation. My sharing sessions have benefited several hundreds of audiences and gained very positive feedback.
I love communicating and sharing knowledge with each other in any group I am involved. I believe by sharing knowledge, not only can we offer valuable reference for those in need, but also strengthen our existing knowledge hierarchy.
