During my years tutoring, I have mastered the use of Zoom, PowerPoint and other interactive software’s. This has helped me to inspire and improve my students capabilities and creativity. I have years of revision resources and handmade presentations available. I am very good at engaging with students from across different backgrounds, and have taught pupils from around the world.

I keep up-to-date with global economics and politics which has strengthened my commercial awareness. I am able to explain current affairs to my students in ways which to help them to understand complex economic theories. This helps bring to life to economics in ways which show how to apply theory to practice. I once organised a trip to China (Shanghai) for my economics class to help them see economic development in action.

I believe the key to good grades is how students structure their ideas. I offer masterclasses on exam technique and essay structuring for different examining boards (AQA, Edexcel and IGCSE). Once you learn how to present your argument, you can develop strong answers that make you stand out!

Beyond my direct tutoring experience, I have engaged in a range of governmental and non-governmental organisations advancing human rights, social justice and welfare. Spanning from my campaigning for Oxfam, to advising the Government of Somalia, I enjoy sharing my direct experiences to raise awareness of how politics and economics continue to shape our lives.
