Hi! My name is Abir Amin and currently I am an Analytics Consultant who has graduated with a 1st Class in BSc Mathematics from University College London (UCL).

Mathematics has always been a strong interest of mine due to the large number of applications it has. Everyday I learn something new and I discover new ways of solving problems. Problems which would have seemed impossible to me years ago. You can always improve at mathematics and that is the sheer beauty of the subject. When it came to exams, especially mathematics, I was always a try hard. But being precisely this was extremely helpful in my journey throughout school.

During my A-level exams, I would do nothing but study and sleep so I know what it is like being under a lot of stress. On top of this, we had to apply to university which was really stressful too, however after working hard and persevering I made it into university and am now part of many societies such as volleyball and golf. A big part of how I would like to help my students is through exam practice. There is no better preparation to me than this. My lesson plan would allow the student to tell me what their strengths and weaknesses are. From here I am prepared to test whether they are up to scratch in their claimed strengths and I will also help them improve on their weaknesses. I tend to leave no stone unturned so rest assured they will learn.
