I currently work as a Technical tutor in an EdTech company, where I coach a group of young persons in website development using a simple curriculum, video lessons, animations, storytelling, and timely assessment as a base of teaching.

The video lessons are pre-recorded lessons explaining to bit how programming language can be seen in our day-to-day activities. These videos are mostly animated, that is, visualized with moving pictures to catch the interest of children.

Children are given access to see these videos and a live class is conducted to further explain what they have learned via the recorded videos. In the same online live classes, children can ask questions and answers will be provided.

The major method I use to create the script used in these videos is storytelling, using day-to-day activities such, Waking up and preparing for school to explain what looping is in Javascript.

Also, I use comparison-based stories, such as comparing Html in a programming language to the English alphabet.

Children remember what they have been thought more easily and I have recorded great results using this approach.

Another method is weekly assessment, I ensure an assessment is set for each lesson and a practice quiz is added to the end of every topic. These quizzes are to test children's basic and standard understanding of every concluded lesson.

During online live classes, students are called by names and asked if they understand what they have learned, this is to build a tutor-to-student relationship and also ease learning pressure.
