For each session I normally like to teach 1-2 hours sessions where I begin by using a presentation. I set out the aims of the lesson and check with the student to confirm whether they are happy with these aims. The session is taught in a lecture-style with breaks for questions and to clarify whether the student is happy at that point in the session. I also integrate quizzes, tests, diagram-drawings or short games to keep the session engaging. I like to finish the session with a short discussion and I like to provide additional resources to the student to continue their study outside the session. Sometimes "homework" will be provided for the student to do in their own time and for their own gain. This is often a past exam-question to test their knowledge.

I have taught maths and science to individuals ranging from 5 to 18 since I was in high school. This involved 30 hours of volunteering (as part of the Welsh Baccalaureate) in the classes of 12- and 14-year-olds teaching science and maths, respectively. I also spent 10 weeks on a girl scout camp in New York teaching young children about science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). In terms of academic tutoring, I worked for 9 months as an academic and admissions tutor for Doxa ltd where I helped to support students applying for Oxbridge. I also tutor for VIPTutors co and have done so for over a year. I have taught Earth sciences/Geology, admissions techniques and also provided exploratory sessions on the Earth Sciences course at Oxford and Imperial College London. I also have a lot of experience giving talks on Oxbridge admissions having been a student ambassador for the university and my college during my time at Oxford.
