During our first lesson we will discuss what you want to get out of this (EG- Improve your understanding of a certain topic or prepare for exams) and what areas you're studying. This is so I can figure out the best ways to help you and that during our lessons we don't spend time going over things that you're already comfortable with. Together we will come up with a plan of action that will best help you in achieving your goal. It was only last year that I was a student myself and I understand how frustrating it can be at times when study guides and how to pass books don't meet your specific needs and the examples they give only leave you feeling more confused. In our lessons we can go through as many examples as needed until we find something that works for you and you can ask about anything you are unsure of no matter how broad or niche it may be. Additionally, I am more than happy for our lessons to simply be workshopping and proof-reading essays sessions. Sometimes a second set of eyes that let you know you're on the right track and help you iron out the kinks is all that is needed for you to believe in your own historical capabilities.

My first lesson is free as there will probably be more talking than tutoring going on but after that we can meet as little or as often as you would like. Lessons can also be arranged at short notice for those nightmare projects or assignments that pop up and stress you out.
