I was a customer service agent and had to deal with customers on a daily basis. My skills include, listening (which I think is the most important of all), dealing with issue that the customers had and helping them solve these issues. I think these qualities will come in handy as I will be helping children learn English as a second language, so it will be important to listen to them and understand them. Also to be able to explain things to them and help the children understand.
