From a young age, mathematics has been my passion and strength - demonstrated by my Gold Award in the UKMT in Year 7, a Grade 9 in GCSE Mathematics, and an A at A-Level. Currently, I have two years of tutoring experience, in which I have honed my skills in creating personalized learning plans and fostering a supportive learning environment. I enjoy tutoring because it gives me a strong sense of fulfilment and pride when I see my students improving, such as understanding a difficult concept or moving up a grade.

In the first lesson I focus on assesing the level and noting down strenghts and weakness. I then create a programme with reuglar assessments to fill in the gaps in knowledge and work thorugh the syllabus. During the lessons, I pride myself in my ability to explain complex concepts in an easy to understand manner, without sounding patronising. In order to acheive the best grades, I spend a good portion of the lesson on exam questions. I utilise the I, WE, YOU method, walking through examples then allowing time for independent working.
