Abi Palmer

I have a passion in teaching, in sharing knowledge, and I would like to teach well to the point where students wholly enjoy learning with me. My aim is to truly help people, not just strictly teach to ensure that students pass a test. If you’re someone who asks ‘why’ a lot, I’ll answer every single question. I love curiosity, and I love curing curiosity. I aim to help you enjoy learning, making you want to learn, and making you proud of what you have learned.

I will always listen to you and consider your way of learning when planning lessons; I want you to learn, and enjoy learning, and I will help to make that happen. I have previously taught with presentations, discussions, videos, music, past papers, etc, to adapt to the learning methods of the student. My goal has always been to communicate well with the student to see what will really help them— if traditional learning methods work for you, great! If they don’t, I’ll try different methods and find a way of learning that works for you, also great! I’m not teacher-led, I’m student-led. Anything that helps you, is what I aim to do.
