With previous experience as teaching assistant for year 9 Maths lessons at NUAST,I can confidently tell you that I have picked up invaluable skills in academic communication and feedback. From personal experience, I believe that building a strong foundation in algebra makes life much easier in other concepts in maths. Thanks to my wonderful teachers back in middle school, I have learnt easy to learn tips and tricks to make algebra easy! Thinking of any problem in maths by splitting it into components makes it much more accessible than to think of it fully, no matter how complex it looks! Thinking about the whole problem as a puzzle, and treating each component as small puzzle pieces to be assembled at the end makes the problem much more interesting! The true beauty of maths lies in its real life applications and by visualising every problem in a real life situation makes it easy to follow. By using all these methods, tailored to your child's academic level, I will be making a personalised plan to support your child's educational journey, ensuring to equip them with skills not only to ace their exams, but also inspire them to explore the subject further! All online sessions can be done using zoom, Google meet or any other alternative that suits you! I will be using a whiteboard to take lessons, and I will make sure entire session is really interactive.
