Abeer Mohammed

Hi, my name is Abeer. I live in England and I am able to speak both English and arabic fluently.

For me it is important that my students enjoy their time with me and that their lessons help them to progress to achieve their goals, whatever they may be. I help improve their confidence and fluency in spoken English. I like to provide a service that achieves my students' goals, not my own in a way that suits them. I like my students to feel relaxed as this makes speaking the language so much easier.

I like to move away from the text books sometimes and maybe talk about cultural events that are about to happen. This gives you an opportunity to learn relevant new vocabulary and also to add a little lightness to the lessons.

I provide extra education and support to help a student progress academically and earn qualifications. My duties include providing private online one-on-one teaching in English, assessing a student’s level of education in that subject and supporting a student through exams.

As an English tutor, I help students improve their reading, writing and speaking skills. I may also assist with grammar, vocabulary and other areas of English language arts.

Being an English tutor requires me to be specialised in the field with knowledge of the subject matter as well as strong interpersonal communication skills. I am able to explain concepts clearly and break them down into smaller pieces so that students can easily understand them.
