I believe that each student is different to each other and I will employ a different teaching technique based on the individual. Lessons will generally include teaching to really understand the topics before committing to memory, using a different range of exam techniques and using exam styles questions and questions written by myself as I believe this is the best way to store concepts into longer term memory. Students can chose if they want me to run through presentations and will make use of different online learning resources too. I will keep a focus on what the student is finding more difficult but also try to build on aspects where they feel more comfortable. My lessons will be catered to the individuals specific needs without going too far beyond the scope but I will ensure the student has more than the recommended amount of knowledge to achieve high marks instead of doing the minimum.
