I am a 1st year medical student studying at Kings College London. I just completed my Alevel studies last year and achieved 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and English Literature. During my tuition sessions I aim to tackle the content whilst remaining focused on following the required exam board specification. Furthermore, I have several online resources that I have created myself and enjoy sharing with my students. These resources highlight the method and exam skills in answering questions for each chapter, thus allowing students to tackle the extremely specific mark schemes present within A-levels. I also stress the importance of taking a proactive approach to tutoring; the significance of walking through exam questions together, and then allowing my students to answer independently whilst I watch to provide any necessary support. I stress the importance of working through exam questions together to help students get used to answering difficult questions. Furthermore, I ensure my student feels secure and confident whilst aiming to achieve grades A and above.
Through thorough analysis of mark schemes for A-level sciences and A-level English, I have been able to create resources which help my student approach each question in a systematic form. I have been able to highlight the majority of reoccurring questions and the likelihood of them appearing during each years A-level papers. As a result, my ability to teach students method to tackle and prepare for these questions can help boost grades significantly.
I am available at any time at the moment as my term for university has not started, therefore if you are interested, feel free to email or call me.
Thanks.
