I am a highly experienced physics teacher of 20+ years.
I have taught in the UK and overseas in the Middle East.
I have been tutoring students in the UK and abroad across UK and international exam boards for over ten years. I have also been an examiner for multiple exam boards in the UK and abroad.
I have taught physics students of all abilities, in mainstream and private schools. I like to engage and enthuse students with the physics knowledge and get them to relate to the concepts with everyday examples and follow up with exam practice to consolidate and build confidence.
UK exam boards taught: AQA, Edexcel and OCR.
International exam boards taught: Edexcel IGCSE & IAL. Cambridge IGCSE and CIE A level.
Other experience: Previously an examiner/assessor for Edexcel and OCR at GCSE and A level.

Different students learn Physics differently. The job is to understand how you learn and how best to approach Physics to maximise your success. Through diagnostic questions and an assessment of your maths ability I can determine how best for you to be able to solve physics problems. Most importantly, you will enjoy how you can relate physics to things you experience in everyday life. The increased confidence will lead to more success in attempting exam questions to a much better standard. Lessons include a blend of knowledge mastery, and applications to real life with worked examples to consolidate understanding and broaden experiences and this is then complimented with plenty of exam practice.
