I hope you are hanging in there. I teach young people and adults math lessons, including discrete mathematics, calculus, linear algebra, and numerical methods. Created and implemented math lessons to help prepare at-risk students for high-stakes testing, improving final test results by 35%. Deliver wide-ranging lessons using real-life applications for a better understanding of students, enhancing EOG math marks by 50% for one of my calculus classes

My teaching style is slightly different from the modern style, which involves throwing a lot of the burden on the students to learn independently from textbooks and notes. I firmly believe that it is an absolute must that a strong foundation in a discipline is made before the student is challenged. Therefore, I do a lot of spoon-feeding until I am confident that my students have built a solid foundation and grasped the concepts. From there, I take the modern style approach, take my students to deep waters where they are challenged, and build confidence in the discipline. Include supplemental materials for my math courses, improving student participation while reducing classroom disruptions.
