Lessons taught are interspersed with learning via analogies and students own lives to enhance understanding of topics. Lesson topics are repeated via different formats such as Powerpoints, quizzes and worksheets to allow embedding of knowledge, as well as use of past papers and recap starters to reinforce learning.
I teach lessons via a mix of online activities such as Presentations, quizzes and use of Google Jamboard.
Practical based activities will be achieved online via interactive sessions and use of videos on Youtube to allow for better understanding.
Work will be marked and assessed at the correct level to allow for successful completion of topics and ensure students are capable of passing their current qualifications.
My experience in teaching ranges from students predominately over the ages of 16+, with teaching of Level 1, 2 and 3 BTEC to students from 16-18 on topics such as Business, Health and Social Care and Applied Science. I have also taught Biology, Chemistry and Physics (as well as the Social Sciences of Psychology and Sociology) to adult students from the ages of 19+ to over 50. All teaching has been successful, with students having completed their respective courses and moving into Higher Education or onto employment.
I am available to teach most evenings and weekends.
