Trilingual MSc student with a BSc in Chemistry with experience tutoring students in IB, GCSE, and A-level programs primarily in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths.

My end-of-degree BSc project focused on pedagogy and how to effectively communicate knowledge to students to allow them to retain as much information as possible. I focus on foundational aspects of teaching and prepare a personalized plan for each student depending on what they require. I build up their knowledge from the ground up and explain the rationale behind each concept to build the linkages between different units and foster a deeper understanding before carefully selecting specific exam-style questions that progress us forward.

First, I brief the parents and hop on a demo call with them before doing the same with the students where we introduce ourselves to each other and I get to better understand their needs, and what is the root cause of their current difficulties before working through a concept together to get them accustomed to my teaching method while setting expectations for all parties. I mainly utilize PowerPoint to begin and Collanote to work through everything with the students while explaining the rationale.
