I have experience tutoring both online and in-person. I currently tutor in a private tuition centre, tutoring Key Stages 2 Maths and English, and Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 English. All of my sessions are interactive and fun! As well as being informative. I have a passion for creative writing; and place a big focus on vocabulary, spelling and grammar in my sessions.
I have a full knowledge of the AQA and Eduqas GCSE Syllabuses for English Literature and English Language. As well as the PIRA SATs examinations, meaning I am fully competent in delivering sessions on these assessments. I specialise in Exam Technique, particularly for GCSE English Literature and English Language.
As well as in person sessions, I have also volunteered my time to tutor online. In these sessions I used a platform called Vedamo; where I was able to upload my sessions to the screen for everyone to see. I tutored both Key Stage 2 SATs level up to Year 11 students preparing for their GCSE assessments.
I pride myself in being a kind and approachable tutor who makes learning and education accessible and most importantly- enjoyable! In our sessions we would go through a mixture of activities depending on your specific goals- KS2 sessions would begin with a quick spelling test each week to ensure we are keeping on top of vocabulary, whereas KS3-KS4 Sessions may be more assessment focussed- looking at how to perfectly answer exam questions and hit all of the assessment objectives. I have experience tutoring pupils of all different levels, so we will tailor your sessions to your personal needs and work at your pace!
