In using online tutoring platforms, such as Zoom and Blackboard, I utilise tools such as Whiteboard and Padlet features.
I ensure both the student and myself can see the same thing at the same time, so we both understand what the focus is. At start of the first session, and at the end of every subsequent session, we will create a blank board for you to brainstorm ANYTHING you would like to be focused on the following week. This allows us to together, plan for the next session in advance.

During tutor sessions, I will create exercises for you - questions, drawn activities, games or practice exams. We will focus on your answers, and then breakdown the learning, ensuring we reach full understanding before moving on.

My tutoring experience involved both TEACHING concepts, tutoring complex areas and discussing the reasoning behind a certain conclusion, and REVISING - helping students use the sessions as a revision of pre-learnt content, tailored to smashing exams. Whether you want to focus on a topic you need to have re-explained, or you just want to find more dynamic ways of memorising content, I can tailor to your needs.

Exams are as much about how you answer the question, as what you answer with. I am able to assisst you in understanding how to reach top marks in your answers. We can practice this together so you feel prepared for the exams ahead!
