I personally believe that nothing is too difficult to do or outstanding grades are meant for some specially gifted people.
I also do believe that with hardwork, dedication, focus and proper guidance everyone is a genius.
Before, I start tutoring my students I love to first know their fears, past failures and other internal factors that might affect their progress. I will first have to make them realise how much potential they have got.
Then, I make them highlight their weak points in the subjects I will be taking them which would give me an idea of how to prepare ahead.
I will also, ask of their study materials to see if they are actually using the right ones or they have to change their materials.
I take time also, to enquire about their study patterns whether they are achieving effectiveness in their study. If not a better one can be formulated for them.
I also want to know the best time for their assimilation, as I would love to teach my students when their assimilation rate is at it's peak.
I like to have a simple, yet detailed and well explanatory note to take my students. Quizzes will be given at the end of each section to test the understanding of my students.
Lastly, I believe in flexibility which makes me not use a one way method for all my students. At points needed if I need to adjust to clearly pass across to a group of students I do not hesitate to.
