For all lessons, I will be using my iPad to screenshare via Zoom or Google Meet ( whichever is easier for the student ) and writing out and drawing concepts and answering questions so it will feel like exactly on paper which is the best way to tutor maths I believe. Before each lesson I will be sending out documents needed as I will have pre -made the lessons beforehand catered to each individual student depending on the areas of difficulty and will be sending these out to students an hour before the lesson whereby they can have a look at the material that might be covered. As it has been proven scientifically reading and then attempting and actually focusing on areas of difficulty is way better than consistently doing what’s already easy for a student. I use a website called Dochub where the student can easily download any PDFs I send over before the lesson and they will be asked to screenshare during the lesson for when they attempt questions so I can give detailed advice on what they can do to improve . As well as that, after each lesson, if parents wish to discuss their child’s progress and current attainments they can feel free to do so via my email or a call. I’m very invested in the success of any students I take under my wing as I am very motivated to help and improve their capabilities as I believe maths is a fundamental skill to have in your belt.
