During my lessons I will try to make them as engaging as possible for students to be interested. Also I would go through each topic in detail so there would not be anything missed out. As well as this I would plan a specification for all the topics I would be teaching and give it to each student so they would know what we will be learning over the course of time I have with them. Due to the students having the specification, it would allow them to be prepared for each upcoming lesson as they can practice for it at home before I teach it to them. I would also do check up tests on the students to see if they are making progress in what I am teaching them, and do exam style tests at the end of each unit to ensure they understood it. If not then I would go over it with them again till it’s understood. Furthermore I would plan my lessons ahead and include activities that will not only help the student understand but keep them engaged throughout the lesson. Overall, my lessons would ensure the student is receiving the right knowledge and I would tell the parents what the student has learnt as well as if they need help in specific topics. If that is the case I would ensure the student is comfortable with asking me for extra help as well as telling me whether or not they understood the lesson. This all my lessons would be planned ahead so there will never be a lesson where there would be nothing to do.
