The lessons will be conducted online. I prefer afternoon lessons but if students need urgent help, I can be flexible. I will be using powerpoint and a tool to write on the slides. We will be focusing on revision for A-level mathematics, such as Pure Mathematics. We will go through the concepts once again and then complete exercises, since practice makes perfect! In doing so, we will also know the weak areas that we can improve on.

When the students are ready, we will go through one past paper (preferably timed, unless otherwise requested by the student) to see whether they need improvement in time management or anything else. Personalised cheat sheets could also be used at this point to remember topics which could be weak points. The past papers will depend on the exam board, whether Edexcel, AQA, OCR.

I have consistently obtained good grades by following a plan which focuses on improving my weaknesses and I believe anyone can do it too! Approaching exams and any study topics with a level-headed mindset and good strategy is a skill which can help students not only for A-levels but for any further studies too.

Having had supervision experience with year 1 undergraduates at Cambridge, I would also like the student to feel comfortable telling me where they need help. During this experience, I tutored 4 students everyweek and helped them gain confidence about the topics. Each student has their own approach and understanding and providing an individual attention to each student is key to their success.
