Hi, I'm Aarushi and I offer GCSE & IGCSE Physics and Chemistry tuition.

I have a First Class Honours degree in Pharmacology from the University of Bristol. In my time at university, I achieved the highest grades on my course, winning the Pfizer Prize, Faculty Prize and earning multiple Certificates of Distinction. I also achieved all A* grades at GCSE (earning my 15 minutes of fame in the Epsom Guardian Newspaper because of this!) - so I know what it takes to be successful in exams.

However it wasn’t always easy for me, so I understand the stress and pressure that comes with taking exams. During my time in education, I perfected a method to help myself get top grades and for the past 6 years, I have been using that method to help my students, achieving a track record of success.

My approach to tutoring involves ensuring you understand the content but more importantly, perfecting exam technique, which is the key to achieving great results!

My lessons typically involve:

-Covering exam-board specific content using my tailored notes which use a mix of concise bullet points, diagrams, images, tables etc.

-Short mini-quizzes to test recall and consolidate the key principals.

-Going through lots of past paper questions to understand how to secure the most marks and how to approach longer/more complex questions.
