I am a 26-year-old with a First Class Masters Degree in Spacecraft engineering and over 9 years of teaching experience both online and in person.

My spacecraft engineering background has given me a deep love for maths and science (particularly physics). My favourite project involved the design and manufacture of a “smart” aeroplane wing, that used artificial intelligence to learn about it’s environment and improve it’s own aerodynamic performance. My engineering background influences my teaching style, and I love to use real life examples to keep lessons interesting for students.

I’ve helped many students reach their academic goals in maths, physics, and chemistry. Anyone can achieve the grade they desire with hard work and consistency. However, helping students enjoy a subject makes that hard work feel enjoyable.

I began teaching at the Connie Rothman Learning Trust where I taught disadvantaged children between the ages of I learned a lot from other experienced tutors, especially the importance of patience and sincere commendation. Over last 4 years, I have taught privately, both online and in person. I love seeing my students meet or exceed their academic goals.

I ensure the basics are mastered before moving to more advanced topics. I also recommend students complete a small amount of work between lessons to consolidate what they learnt. Time and again this approach has proven successful come results day.

I send a monthly progress report (or more frequent if desired) to ensure there is regular communication between me and the parent. If a student has any needs or academic goals, then I will work with you to ensure they are met.

I teach online and in person. My online setup is quite simple (Zoom for video conferencing and bit paper to do work together). I also have books that I use for lessons, which I can send you the links to.
