I will first be the one asking you questions making sure I understand exactly what you need help with. I will then go over all the content you may need, using PowerPoints, answering any questions along the way. There will be frequent checks throughout the lesson for me to see if you’ve grasped everything properly and if I identify any gaps in your knowledge then I will make sure those are all filled in by the end of the lesson. I have experience tutoring both maths and economics as I have been mentoring lower years in maths half a year now. I believe in the abilities of every student. When a student is struggling, it just means that they aren’t being taught it the right way. Everyone has a different way of learning and I will ensure I find the perfect way to teach each and every one of you. Lessons will be tailored specifically to you and you can ask any questions about the topic being taught, potential topics you want to be taught or anything you’ve gone over in class that you need me to understand. Sometimes you just need a student’s perspective.
