Aamina Durrani

I have been teaching Mathematics at the undergraduate and graduate levels for the past seven years. I have started my professional career back in 2013 as a Montessori teacher at Racine’s School System. In my current position, as a HOD (Primary Section) at the Central School Dubai, I teach Mathematics to 4th and 5th grades along with other duties assigned as HOD. Before that, I was working as a Department Coordinator and Lecture at the Department of Mathematics at the City University of Science and Information Technology, where I used to teach various subjects of applied and pure Mathematics to Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, and BS Mathematics students. In addition, I have one year of teaching experience as an elementary Mathematics teacher at the Abasyn University School and College, a UK curriculum-based school. Furthermore, I taught Mathematics to UK and US-based students through Upwork as an online tutor for 1.5 years. Noteworthy, I have verified my final degree from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affair and International Cooperation.
I have extensive knowledge of classroom management and differentiated teaching methods to teach learners of all backgrounds. I enjoy helping teenagers to reach their academic goals and gain an understanding of mathematical concepts. My lesson plans employ fun and creativity along with the concepts that are to be taught. Students find that I am an innovative teacher who uses several teaching methods and styles to produce effective results.
