A. Wolfgang Crowe

I am a creative producer who is passionate about future thinking, volunteering, social network strategy, tutoring, and consulting. My personal statement highlights my goal of changing the world by addressing pressing issues through art-making, reporting and examining trauma, spotlighting injustice, and promoting social innovation.

As a mentor to various students from The University of Plymouth, I have successfully guided them in defining their artistic practice and provided numerous references and inspirational plans for their future growth. One of my students, Rebecca Henson, shared that "A. Wolfgang Crowe would make an excellent teacher due to their passion and enthusiasm to help others grow, compassionate listening and understanding of how to specifically guide others in regards to their individual needs."

During my studies, I published my first comic work, “Comrade,” and since then, I have worked as a freelance illustrator and brand ambassador. My work has been recognized through various awards, including a character profile featured in Student Life Magazine in 2022. Recently, the first part of my book series, Fractures, received positive reviews from Broken Frontier and Safe Space for Hard Stories, who have asked me to be a consultant for their own initiatives later this year.

I have developed a strong passion for design activism, graphic medicine, research, and reportage for social change.
