I am looking for a tutor for my child who struggles understanding maths

Hi, I am a university student with 2 years tutoring experience tutoring groups and also one on one. I look to prioritise understanding and then exam technique so my students are not blindly following an algorithm but understand steps and the thought process behind them. This gives them confidence when encountering tricky and confusing questions as they can tackle them with understanding rather than following a guide. As well as this, I teach a systematic thought process to help students break down challenging questions and answer them in a way that simplifies it for themselves. In turn, preparing them for their current stage of education and solidifying a foundation to build on.
