Can I use a virtual piano to learn to play?

I would like to learn to play the piano and I have seen that there are virtual pianos on the internet. Since real pianos cost a lot, do you think that at least for the first lessons I can use this virtual instrument?

I wouldn't recommend doing so, considering it requires an entirely different technique to work, and virtual pianos have nowhere near the same range of an actual piano. I'd recommend investing in keyboard if you'd like to learn how to play
