BIDMAS stands for Brackets, Indices, Division/Multiplication, Addition/Subtraction. Technically this is an order to answer every and any equation with multiple operators. Take this equation for example: 70- (3x2²+5). To solve this first you expand the 2² =4. Then multiple 4 by 3=12. Then add 12 to 5=17. Remember you have to solve everything in the bracket but if there isn't any bracket just continue the process. So now you have 70-17 which is 53.

BIDMAS is an acronym for "Brackets, Indices, Division, Multiplication, Addition, and Subtraction." It is a sequence of operations to be followed when solving equations involving multiple mathematical operators. The order of these operations is essential for obtaining the correct answer.
To use BIDMAS to solve an equation, you need to follow the order of the operations. First, you evaluate expressions within brackets or parentheses, then you solve indices or exponents. After that, you perform division and multiplication operations in order from left to right, and finally, you solve addition and subtraction operations from left to right.
For example, let's consider the equation: 2 + 3 x 4 - (5 - 1) ÷ 2
First, we need to solve the expressions within the brackets:
(5 - 1) ÷ 2 = 4 ÷ 2 = 2
Next, we solve the multiplication operation:
3 x 4 = 12
Now, we have:
2 + 12 - 2
Then, we perform addition and subtraction operations from left to right:
2 + 12 = 14
14 - 2 = 12
Therefore, the solution to the equation is 12.
Another example: 5 + 4 x 3 ÷ 2 - 1
First, we need to solve the multiplication and division operations, in order from left to right:
4 x 3 = 12
12 ÷ 2 = 6
Now, we have:
5 + 6 - 1
Then, we perform addition and subtraction operations from left to right:
5 + 6 = 11
11 - 1 = 10
Therefore, the solution to the equation is 10.
