Hi Alice, The first thing you need is to have a strong foundation understanding. You can do it by reading the theory and check your understanding by doing some examples. To strengthen your understanding, while doing the exercises try to read and explain it to yourself. Once you can do it, your understanding will be solid. After that, do the exercises as many as possible with various types of questions (problems) ranging from simple calculations to problem solving questions. Checking and trying to solve past exams will be helpful as well. Familiarise yourself with the topics, such as numbers, algebra, geometry and statistics.
