English Tutor providing lessons for GCSE Students

I have completed my GCSEs with all 7,8,9 (A,A*/A**). I have received a 9 in English language and an 8 in English Literature. I am passionate and enjoy English and I believe I have the skills to help other children achieve their personal goals and aims, whether its to boost grades or build confidence in the subject.

At the end of each lesson, I will ask my student what they struggle with/need help for next lesson or they can reach out to me beforehand. I will then prepare my classes according to the students needs. I usually prepare powerpoint's if teaching theory and can also go through specific questions a student has sent. For English Language classes I would go through each writing format and how to score the best possible marks possible. For English Literature, I would usually analyse texts with students and encourage participation in sharing ideas of each text that we look through. I will also go through how maximum marks can be gained in the English Literature paper. I can also set additional work if required.

I understand that each child has their own preferred method of learning and I am adaptable to create the best possible learning plans that can cater to specific requirements. I am also flexible with times and I am motivated to make sure my students not only improve in English but also enjoy the subject.
