Advert description
MFL Teacher (English, Italian, Spanish) at language schools, cultural associations, and secondary schools.
BA in Linguistic Mediation (Honours), and MA in Language, Society and Communication (First-Class Honours). During my MA, I also spent a year at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I hold an Italian "Diploma di Esame di Stato" equivalent to A-level ABB. My academic career and training courses both in Italy and abroad have provided me with excellent language skills in Italian (C2), English (C2), and Spanish (C1), as well as in their respective literary, cultural, and socio-political contexts. Further languages studied are: Chinese, German, and Portuguese.
Throughout my university studies, I especially developed theoretical knowledge and research practice in the fields of Italian, English, and Spanish linguistics. This led to the development of two research dissertations investigating the Italian native speaker’s pronunciation of English.
I later delivered a lecture on my research to Linguistics undergraduate students at the San Pellegrino University Foundation (April 2019) and presented the study's methodology and results at the 14th Annual Lancaster Postgraduate Conference in Linguistics and Language Teaching (July 2019).
Since 2018 I have taught English, Italian, and Spanish at several language schools and two secondary schools, with students ranging from primary school children to adults, and featuring levels of language proficiency from A2 to C1. I have held preparation courses on language certificates for English (PET, KET, FCE, IELTS, CAE), Italian (CELI).
