Third year spanish student at the University of Leeds offering lessons up to A Level

I have an A* in A Level Spanish and achieved a grade 9 in my GCSE. I am about to go into my 3rd year at the University of Leeds where I am studying Spanish. I sat my exams after the reforms to the GCSEs and A Levels so I have been in your shoes and know exactly how the exams work. My 3rd year at uni consists of moving to Spain where I will be teaching English as foreign language to 12-16 year olds. My lessons will consist of focusing on the areas of the syllabus which you find most difficult or feel you need that little bit of extra help - whether that be grammar, or preparing for an oral exam.

The lesson will start with a very quick chat about what you’ve been doing in your lessons at school and a small vocabulary test which should only last about ten minutes (I found these very effective when I was in school and believe that they are one of the main reasons I got the grades I was awarded). After that I will then go over the aspect of the course which we are working on and then go through some exercises together to put the new skill into practice. The exercises are the most important part of the lesson as this is where I can see if what I have taught you as managed to stick! :)
