Qualified secondary school Spanish teacher with tutoring experience

I graduated with a First Class Honours in Italian and Hispanic studies and offer Spanish lessons to all levels for both children and adults. I have taught secondary school Spanish to students aged 11-18 in a variety of educational settings and specialise in making language learning fun and accessible.

I also have experience in tutoring and have helped students to improve both their confidence speaking Spanish in addition to their knowledge of grammar and written skills. I achieved an A in A-Level Spanish and an A* in GCSE Spanish and would be happy to impart my experience of the necessary exam preparation to any student taking a Spanish exam.

I am patient, kind and understanding, happy to explain things over and over again until you understand!

Lessons will be tailored according to what you would most like to learn and your areas of concern. I will always prepare for the lesson by asking you in advance what you would like to concentrate on for the upcoming lesson, and gather the relevant materials that would best suit your desired area of study. This may be conversation, grammar rules or reading and listening exercises.

Lessons will be fun and interactive with a relaxed atmosphere, I will always offer constructive feedback in a positive and encouraging way! We will use a variety of resources, including worksheets, YouTube videos and quizzes. Grammar explanations will be given as clearly and directly as possible to avoid confusion. As for students preparing for exams, we can revise topics specific to your exam specification. General learners of Spanish can focus on any topic you would prefer, be it culture, speaking or reading!

I will also be sure to pass on any general tips and tricks I have picked up on my own journey of learning Spanish as a second language!

I teach all year groups, from primary level, GCSE, A level and beyond. Also happy to help general learners of the language.

I have first hand experience with AQA and Edexcel exam boards and have also tutored students who follow the Eduqas examining system.
