Learn to talk Spanish through Drama! Private tutor- intermediate to expert level

I was born and raised in Madrid, Spain. Apart from Spanish, I have a native level in English and an intermediate level in French. I love languages, they have allowed me to meet so many different people and hear about their cultures. I am very passionate about helping students improve their Spanish so they can use it in their daily lives/jobs.

As a professional actor, I approach my classes with a bit of a different methodology. I combine my love for theatre and performance with the task of becoming fluent in Spanish. These create exercises that are more dynamic and engaging than other traditional speaking exercises. For example: we work with improvised scenarios from daily life, or we read, comprehend and act scenes from films and plays. I believe this “drama filter” makes it easier to retain what’s been learned.
My classes focus mainly on speaking and listening skills, which is why I target students who are at least on an intermediate level.

I have previous experience tutoring students and I try to personalize my classes so that they adjust to your goals and needs. I am aware of how hard it can be and I am very patient.

When rehearsing, we actors always say we have to try many different ideas and fail until we discover the ones that work. The worst thing one can do is to doubt yourself. It’s the same with speaking Spanish. I will provide you with a safe and fun space where you can try and fail until you get it right!
