Professional and experienced vocal coach!

Hi!

I am a professional Singer and Singing Teacher based in York, with more than 15 years' experience in the music industry.
I teach in my home studio near the centre of York and online.
I am currently a vocal coach at Tom Ball Live Academy, Whiteleys' Academy Of Performing Arts, The Music Room Selby and I also teach privately alongside composing and performing my own music. I have toured in countries such as Japan, France, Italy, Germany, UK and Denmark and recorded and featured on several albums. I am also a professional Backing vocalist and session singer and have worked for companies such as the BBC and Danish Radio.

I graduated with a BA (Hons) Music (Popular with Jazz, performance and composition) with a distinction from Leeds College of Music.
Further training includes:
• MGK (3-year Conservatoire preparatory course in Denmark)
• Alexander technique
• Mindfulness for singers
• Anne Rosing institute Summer course
I have received:
• The Prize for highest grades of combined students at Leeds College of Music
• A scholarship for Leeds College of Music from Aabenraa Statsskole.

I also hold a DBS checked (enhanced)

I teach all levels from complete beginners to professionals. When teaching, I have a very positive, fun, sensitive and supportive approach which instantly makes students feel comfortable during the sessions.
