Excellent tuition for an excellent price

My son learned with Helen for 4 years from the age of 14, including online sessions during Covid. Helen has such a genuine warmth and understanding of young people. He loved his lessons from the off, and really looked forward to his weekly sessions. Having had no previous singing tuition, she quickly identified the areas he needed to work on and his technique and range improved rapidly under her guidance. A particular strength of Helen’s teaching is her intuitive ability to untap her student’s creative potential, and my son really appreciated her input and support with his songwriting, and the experience he gained from recording and listening. Helen has vast experience of performing, recording and teaching at the highest level, and brought this lived experience to his lessons in a way that was both invaluable and inspirational.

Helen is a superb patient teacher with lots of experience teaching all levels of ability and gives practical easy to follow exercises for noticeable results and improvement in range and power. She also emphasises making sure you’re singing correctly so you don’t tire or overwork your voice. Highly recommended!

Helen's passion and enthusiasm for singing was very encouraging . I had lost confidence in my voice but with her guidance and positive support, I left her sessions feeling excited and hopeful that I had a voice and felt more confident in expressing it. Very enjoyable.
