Advert description
I have been playing clarinet for around 15 years, and have had the opportunity to play with many bands and ensembles over this time. I have played in Belgium, the Pan Celtic Festival in Carlow, Ireland and the United Nations International School in New York. I achieved a Grade 8 in my ABRSM clarinet exam in 2016 and since then, have been playing regularly with local and university bands.
I started playing the alto saxophone around 2014/2015 and am comfortable playing in many different styles such as classical or jazz.
I also act as assistant conductor of a local wind band which means that I can encourage players whilst also highlighting important details to improve the sound of the music.
I have a keen interest in Music and can give support and advice at understanding and appreciating Music Theory. This includes understanding notation and rhythm to musical terminology and history.
I'm happy working with beginners or with people that are more experienced in order to improve confidence whilst playing and to establish a greater understanding of the music.
As I've been through the process myself, I'm hoping my advice and feedback will resonate well with individuals and will help to overcome difficulties effectively.
