Advert description
I completed my Bachelor at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London and pursued to Masters in Music Performance at RNCM, Manchester. I have worked as a volunteer assistant at the Animate Summer Performance Project organised by Trinity Laban for young musicians, including a performance at ching assistant in the Animate Orchestra for 20 young musicians of various ages and instruments, curatedby Trinity Laban and Jason Rowland, including a performance at Southbank, London. I was heavily involved in the two-week preparation stage of the project. Apart from helping helping the piano students prepare their parts and develop their skills, I was also responsible for their overall involvement in the group. Practising
judgement, energy, patience, creativity, responsibility, leadership, reliability and enthusiasm were all
essential in helping the orchestra achieve their goals.
I also worked as a teaching assistant in the Young Musician’s Summer School 2019 by Trinity Laban, and taught music theory group classes. My role included helping students solve any difficulty or question they had regarding the preparation of our project (music performance), helping them to learn the music, rhythm on their instruments and coaching them on how to contribute as part of an ensemble not just as an individual. I had to engage them in the group and make them feel confident in their skills by fully evolving myself in the ensemble, showing them, we are all one when it comes to collaboration and support.
I have been teaching privately for the past 5 years, including giving piano and theory lessons. I have taught piano for a music Academy based in Manchester for ages from 5 to adults. The position included preparing many of myself students for the Grade exams, registering them to perform at the concerts organised by the Academy and give them written reports in the end of each term.
