I started taking piano lessons quite late, in my early 50s. A friend recommended Ervin to me. I had some reservations and a bit of anxiety as I felt I was too old for learning to play an instrument, but all my anxiety diminished when Ervin had an introductory lesson with me, discussing my goals, expectations and explaining his teaching methods. He is an exceptional teacher and musician with many years of experience in teaching different age groups with a wide range of musical backgrounds from beginners to professional concert pianists. Ervin adoptedd on line teaching as well. He has a great sense of humour and a friendly attitude. I have progressed with my piano skills unbelievably well, thanks to Ervin's teaching and encouragement. I have also learnt a lot about the history of music during our conversations.
