Advert description
I am a PhD student (Birmingham City University) and a dedicated and qualified special educational needs teaching assistant and PhD student (Birmingham City University) with over eight years of experience supporting children with complex needs in groups or one to one. I have a robust background in teaching a range of subjects at the Primary Level, delivering teaching with passion and empathy. Educated with a master's degree, I know current education issues in relation to terms of practice, process and curriculum. I am very interested in supporting children and young people with challenging behaviour. I possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, engaging and building trust with children, colleagues, and parents. I am very interested in continuing my studies involving researching intervention approaches such as dialogic reading and their implementation into the education system. I have applied various methods to my teaching, which I have learnt in my academic studies, such as Vygotsky's zone of proximal development and Brunner's theory of scaffolding, furthering my passion for one to one support.
I am now looking to use my skills and experience to progress my career with a forward-thinking and innovative organisation; please connect with me to discuss our industry and career opportunities.
