Maths GCSE foundation teaching . Face to face or online

My son is currently studying maths GCSE and is in year 10. Vicky has been working with Ted for almost 6 months and in that time Ted has made phenomenal progress at school. He had some time off last year due to illness and Vicky has more than helped him catch up with his gaps. She has focused on algebra and number. She’s very patient and explains everything in detail so Ted comes away from her lesson knowing exactly what to do. She gets Ted to practice exam questions at the end of the lesson so he becomes more familiar with how things will be in the exam. This has helped him tremendously build confidence. Vicky was patient and very approachable. She made Ted feel at ease. Ted commented “she was dead canny”.

My daughter has one hour a week online tutoring with Vicky. Vicky has helped jess’s confidence with her maths. She’s working through basic number work with Jess at the moment. Although Jess has just been working with Vicky for a few weeks. I can already see an improvement in her number work skills.

My daughter is sitting her GCSEs this summer, and Vicky has been helping Lily with her maths. In the three months Vicky has been working with Lily her confidence to tackle the more complex worded questions have improved significantly. Lily‘s maths mock exam results have gone up for whole grade since Christmas. I have found Vicky to be both professional and knowledgeable.
