I have experience in one to one tuition as well as group tuition. My teaching method is specific to the student, as before teaching I will look at student’s specification and create lesson plans accordingly. Then, I discuss aims with the student (ie what they are looking to achieve) and we create study goals. My lessons consist of step by step teaching, an opportunity to try it yourself and extension tasks. I advise that this is supplemented by independent work outside of tutor hours, just to make sure skills are not forgotten.
