Mathematics tutor providing excellent support to primary school, GCSE and A Level students

I have a Master's degree in Mathematics from the University of Sheffield, where I mostly studied applied mathematics such as Calculus, Machine Learning, and Mathematical modeling. I have experience providing excellent 1:1 support to first-year mathematics students through my role as Maths Mentor for a year during university. Additionally, I was also a STEM Teacher volunteer, where I planned and delivered four weekly science-based sessions to a class of primary school children. As well, I was a Student Dance teacher for three years at my local dance school. I assisted the dance teacher with Ballet and Tap lessons for 3-16 year olds by providing additional support to new or struggling dancers.

With these experiences, I believe it has provided me with the desirable skills and qualities that make an excellent tutor. I run my sessions by identifying the student's strengths and weaknesses and then focus on difficult and out-of-the-ordinary exam questions to tailor their learning. I keep up-to-date with previous exam papers to predict future exam questions, and will always provide additional support to the student.
